Boars Head Recalls Deli Meat Products Due to Contamination Concerns
Liverwurst and Other Delicatessen Items Affected
Potentially Harmful Bacteria Prompts Nationwide Withdrawal
Boars Head Provisions has announced a major recall of its ready-to-eat liverwurst products and several additional deli meat items. The recall stems from concerns about potential contamination with harmful bacteria that could cause serious health issues.
Over 207,000 pounds of delicatessen products are affected by the recall, including both liverwurst and ham varieties. The recalled products were produced on the same line and on the same day. They have been distributed nationwide, prompting a massive withdrawal from store shelves.
