Taylor Swift's "The Alchemy" Unleashes Travis Kelce References

The Tayvis Era Anthem

By Lauren Puckett-Pope and Erica Gonzales

Taylor Swift has released a new song, "The Alchemy," which features some cryptic lyrics that fans are speculating may reference her rumored relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

In the song, Swift sings, "This happens once every few lifetimes / These chemicals hit me like white wine / What if I told you I'm back / The hospital was a drag / Worst sleep that I ever."

Fans have pointed out that Swift and Kelce have been spotted spending time together in recent months, and that the lyrics to "The Alchemy" seem to match up with some of their own social media posts.

For example, in one post, Kelce wrote, "Worst sleep that I ever had / I circled you on a map." This line matches up with Swift's lyrics, "Worst sleep that I ever had / I circled you on a map."

In another post, Kelce wrote, "I haven't come around in so long / But I'm coming back so strong." This line matches up with Swift's lyrics, "I haven't come around in so long / But I'm coming back so strong."

Fans are speculating that Swift and Kelce may have been dating for some time, and that "The Alchemy" is a song about their relationship.

Neither Swift nor Kelce have confirmed or denied the rumors, but the lyrics to "The Alchemy" certainly seem to suggest that something is going on between the two stars.
