Cavaliers Face Magic in Eastern Conference Playoff Opener

Game 1 Set for Saturday, April 20 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse

Cleveland Holds Home-Court Advantage in Best-of-Seven Series

The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to begin their Eastern Conference playoff journey on Saturday, April 20, as they host the Orlando Magic in Game 1 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Cavaliers earned the No. 4 seed in the conference with a 48-34 record, while the Magic clinched the No. 5 seed with a 47-35 mark.

The Cavaliers finished the regular season strong, winning eight of their final 10 games. They also boast one of the league's most dynamic offenses, led by All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell and rising star Darius Garland. Mitchell averaged 27.4 points per game this season, while Garland chipped in with 21.7 points and 8.6 assists.

The Magic, meanwhile, were a surprise team this season, finishing with the fourth-best record in the Eastern Conference. They are led by All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, who averaged 23.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. The Magic also have a strong supporting cast, including Markelle Fultz, Franz Wagner, and Paolo Banchero.

The Cavaliers will have home-court advantage throughout the series, which is a significant advantage in the playoffs. They have won four of their six regular-season meetings against the Magic this season, including a 117-113 victory in Orlando on April 10.

Game 1 of the series is scheduled to tip off at 3:00 PM ET on Saturday, April 20. The game will be televised on ESPN and streamed live on the ESPN app.
